(Toronto, ON) – Canadian Music Week got off to a great start on May 7 with a show by Scott Weiland and the Wildabouts at The Virgin Mobile Mod Club. The band is currently on a North American tour in support of their album Blaster.
Weiland, whose career spans three decades, is best known as the former frontman for Stone Temple Pilots, as well as the supergroup Velvet Revolver from 2003 to 2008. Velvet Revolver also included former Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash. As a solo artist Weiland has four studio albums, a cover album and a live album.
