Chris Isaak with Marc Broussard coming to Artpark July 30; tickets still available

American actor / singer Chris Isaak makes his debut appearance at Artpark‘s Tuesdays In the Park on July 30 when he rolls into Lewiston for a performance with opening act Marc Broussard.

California-born Isaak, who broke into the music scene in 1985 with his debut album Silvertone, didn’t get much attention until his third album Heart Shaped World was released with the hit Wicked Game. The album came out 30 years ago this summer and was on Billboard’s Top 200 before going to number 7 on the Billboard charts in 1991. Some of Isaak’s other singles include Somebody’s Cryin‘, Baby Did A Bad Bad Thing, and Blue Hotel.

In total, Isaak (whose music is described as rock and roll, rockabilly, roots rock) has released 12 studio albums including the last album First Comes the Night (2015).

In addition to music, Isaak has appeared in a number of movies and TV shows, including his own show, The Chris Isaak Show, which ran from 2001–2004 where he played himself and featured actual members of his band along with actors and celebrity guests.

Isaak has won or been nominated for many awards for his music and acting.

Opening for Chris Isaak will be Marc Broussard – a Louisiana-born singer-songwriter whose style is best described as Bayou Soul, a mix of funk, blues, R&B, rock, and pop, matched with distinct Southern roots. In his career, he has released eight studio albums, one live album, three EPs, and has charted twice on Hot Adult Top 40 Tracks.
