Saturday, November 3, 2018, musical brilliance graced the Starlight Social Club in Waterloo as Cecile Monique unveiled her debut full-length Gothic rock/symphonic metal CD, Genesis.
On the heels of her viral cover of Rammstein‘s Reise, Reise, Cecile Monique’s CD release celebration fetured a live, dynamic performance of her new CD, in its entirety, to a crowd of cheering VIP’s and fans.
Genesis draws upon Canadian Gothic Symphonic artist, Cecile Monique’s classically trained, beautiful voice, intertwined with heavy metal guitar riffs, symphonic arrangements and strong fist pumping rock. The CD features twelve original compositions written, arranged and co-produced by Cecile Monique. By the end of the concert, new fans and old fans alike were crowded around the merch-table to get their hands on copies of her music.
Let’s face it, it is not every day that a CD of this quality and originality lands with such a diverse appeal to fans of not only rock and metal but to all music lovers. Genesis is available on Spotify, iTunes, Google Play and other platforms.
