(Toronto, ON) – This summer has been hot with respect to great shows within the city of Toronto. One performance I wasn’t going to miss was Harem Scarem Live at the Phoenix Concert Theatre. They chose this venue to record a live DVD to add to their ever growing roster of releases. Pete Lesperance was back and in fine form after breaking his arm last winter.
Harem Scarem is recognized for their impeccable harmonizing vocal talents, along with their incredible musicianship. Their popularity peaked in the early 90’s with songs such as Slowly Slipping Away, Honestly and No Justice. They maintain a loyal following in Asia, where they still actively tour. The line up for that evening was 75% original with Harry Hess (vocals), Pete Lesperance (guitars), Darren Smith (drums). Bassist Stan Miczek joined the HS establishment in 2013.
Direct supports for this show was Famous Underground, Punishment and Honor First.
This show was presented by Black Moon Entertainment.
