Jerry Cantrell kicked off his much-anticipated “I Want Blood” tour on January 31 at the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls, Canada. The night was packed with powerful performances, blending his solo material with unforgettable Alice In Chains classics, making for an electrifying start to the tour.
Filter opened the show, energizing the crowd before Cantrell took the stage. As the first night of the tour, the setlist was a mix of new tracks and fan favorites. Cantrell delivered his solo hits like “Vilified” and “I Want Blood,” while also revisiting iconic Alice In Chains songs, including “Them Bones,” “Down in a Hole,” and “Would?”
One of the most memorable moments was “Hate to Feel,” a track that hadn’t been performed by a member of Alice In Chains since 1993. The crowd was ecstatic, proving that Cantrell’s connection to his past and present remains as strong as ever.
The evening wrapped up with the powerful Alice In Chains classic “Rooster,” leaving the audience on a high. The “I Want Blood” tour was off to an incredible start, and fans are in for a treat as the tour continues.
