Lennex
Willie John’s Big Easy
Niagara Falls, Ontario
October 23, 2018
It took 30 years for Niagara band Lennex to reunite with all five original members but earlier this week the band finally got together for one night only at Willie John’s Big Easy in downtown Niagara Falls to celebrate their 40th Anniversary.
Guitarist/singer Rick Rose, guitarist/singer Johnnie Dee (Honeymoon Suite), rhythm guitarist Frank Paonessa, keyboardist Fred Maiuri and drummer Pat Casciano played in front of a packed club. Guitarist/singer Greg Fraser (Brighton Rock, Helix) and guitarist/singer Terry Pracchia (Ruckus) also joined Lennex on stage. Both Fraser and Pracchia were members of Lennex in the latter years.
Why did it take so long for this reunion to happen? It was difficult for the band members to all get together at once due to commitments and location. Paonessa currently lives in California but was back in Niagara for his nephew’s wedding. Dee, who fronts Canadian rock band Honeymoon Suite, has been busy recording and touring since the band’s formation in the early 80’s. Rose worked as a songwriter for Sony Nashville and continues to play and teach music locally. He also started the Niagara Falls-based radio station 4680q.ca which went live to air last month.
It worked out that everyone was back in Niagara this week so they decided to reunite for one night only.
It was a great night with family, friends and musicians gathering together for a memorable night!
The following is a gallery of photos from the Lennex reunion. Enjoy!

I missed it! Looks like it was a great night though! Twenty-two or so years since I last saw Terry play guitar ! 🙋 Best wishes always
