Somerset WI May 9th, 2015 The Northern Invasion Tour completely sold out in it’s first year. Wisconsin’s Somerset Amphitheater was the place to be if you were a metal head. The inaugural lineup was impressive and loaded with the leading women of rock today with the bands; In This Moment, The Pretty Reckless and the strong pipes of Lizzy Hale of Halestorm.
Other bands on the lineup included Crobot, Starset, We Are Harlot, Thousand Foot Crutch, Young Guns, Motionless In White, Falling In Reverse, Three Days Grace, Volbeat, Anthrax and Five Finger Death Punch. The night was closed out with headliner Slipknot absolutely rocking the stage with amazing pyrotechnics, great lighting and a majority of fan favorite songs on the setlist.
Northern Invasion Tour 2016 will be even bigger and better adding an extra day as it all goes down on May 14th and 15th. The lineup will have some of the biggest and heaviest names in the industry today, including Rob Zombie and Korn.
