One of Southern Ontario’s first summer festivals has now come and gone for another year. Field Trip 2018 took place June 2-3 at Fort York and Garrison Common in Toronto.
Metric headlined Saturday’s show while New York City band Yeah Yeah Yeahs closed off the festival Sunday night. Both days began early afternoon with many great acts playing on two different stages. Saturday’s weather was hot and sunny all day while Sunday saw periods of rain which, at times, pelted down onto the crowd. But that didn’t dampen the spirits of those in attendance.
