After a two-year hiatus, The Welland Rose Festival in Welland, ON returned this past weekend with many great things happening including its concert series on the floating stage at Merritt Park Amphitheatre. Kicking off the weekend of concerts was the return of award-winning Canadian Blues singer-guitarist Jack de Keyzer along with his long-time band members Richard Thornton (sax), Alan Duffy (bass), and Rick Donaldson (drums). Eric Lambier played keyboards.
De Keyzer played a 90-minute set which included a number of tracks off his latest album Tribute. De Keyzer returns to the area in Thorold, ON as part of a free holiday weekend festival at Beaverdams Park for Rock N Blues on the Battlefield July 2.
