Niagara Falls illuminated the waterfall with the colour purple to commemorate Queen Elizabeth’s 90th birthday for about 15 minutes at 10 p.m.
Coincidently, April 21 turned out to be the day the world lost one of its biggest music icons – Prince Rogers Nelson – and illuminating Niagara Falls the colour purple took on dual meaning.
RIP Prince….
