RATT with Great White
Treasure Island Casino
Welch, Minneapolis
February 11, 2017
Three of RATT‘s original lineup members – singer Stephen Pearcy, lead guitarist Warren DeMartini and bassist Juan Croucier – reunited for their first official show in years on February 11, 2017 at Treasure Island Casino in Welch, Minneapolis. They were joined by guitarist Carlos Cavazo (ex-Quiet Riot) who played on RATT’s last studio album, 2010’s Infestation, and drummer Jimmy DeGrasso (ex-Megadeth).
Last November, a California judge ruled against drummer Bobby Blotzer with respect to whether Croucier had committed trademark infringement by using the RATT name and logo to advertise his band RATT’S JUAN CROUCIER back in the Fall of 2015. The judge ruled that the corporation WBS, Inc. of which Blotzer and DeMartini were the supposed sole shareholders — did not have ownership interest in the RATT marks and that the name and brand was still owned by the members who were part of the original RATT partnership agreement.
Great White (guitarist Mark Kendall, keyboards/guitarist Michael Lardie, bassist Scott Snyder, drummer Audie Desbrow and singer Terry Lous) opened the show with a 10-song set which included House of Broken Love,Mista Bone, Rock Me, Once Bitten Twice Shy and more.
Tommy Allen Williams was there for Music Life Magazine to capture some great shots!
