Calgary singer-songwriter JJ Shiplett is excited to announce the release of the video for “Something To Believe In”, the highly praised track featured on his self-penned debut EP aptly named “The E.P.”.
Filmed on the road “Something To Believe In” follows Shiplett over the course of two months, through 47 shows in 35 cities as direct support for multi-platinum entertainer Johnny Reid on the “What Love Is All About” 2016 national tour.

Drawing comparisons to such musical greats as Bruce Springsteen and Chris Stapleton, music critics coast to coast applaud Shiplett’s passion and reverence for the art of music and performance – echoing the same enthusiasm shown by fans. With co-production by Reid, Shiplett released the independent four-song self-penned debut EP “The E.P. at the beginning of February. The debut release quickly climbed to #3 on the Nielsen SoundScan Canadian Country Albums Chart and #8 on the overall Country Albums Chart. . “The E.P.” is the perfect testament to Shiplett’s range and depth as an artist, and to the maturity and perseverance of someone unwilling to compromise on the path they were always meant to follow.
