Soundset 2016 Features ASAP Rocky, Common, Machine Gun Kelly and More – May 29th, 2016

(Minnesota State Fairgrounds Falcon Heights, MN) – Soundset 2016 kicked off its ninth edition with the same amazing turn out as always (30,000 fans) but at a different location. Instead of taking place at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, MN. It was held at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds a more appropriate, urban location that’s bigger and easily accessible by mass transit. There were lots of food vendors on site that were easy to access including Minnesota State Fair favorite Martha’s Sweet Cookies and plenty of room to roam about.

Rhymesayers Entertainment has worked hard to make Soundset the biggest hip-hop festival of its kind. People from all parts of the world come to the festival every year and it just keeps getting bigger. Every year the line up seems to mix 10 straight hours of the perfect musical balance between hip hop and rap with some of the best artists in the game.

Soundset offers many other forms of entertainment other than the 2 main stages and the 5th Element tent there is the DJ tent with some of the best DJ’s spinning the wheels. The car show boasts many crazy awesome rides, skate ramp where skaters perform tricks on the half pipe and there was also a mini ferris wheel for people to relax and enjoy the view on.

Soundset will continue its success at the new location because of all of the hard working people who stay dedicated to keeping it at the top and we truly look forward to Soundset 2017.
