Orange County’s very own yellow and black attack is back! Stryper is celebrating 30 years of their third studio album To Hell With the Devil. The band will be playing the iconic album in its entirety on the To Hell with the Devilˊ 30th Anniversary Tour (Isaiah 53:5) on Sunday October 16th at the City National Grove of Anaheim in Anaheim, California.
To Hell With the Devil was ground breaking, shaping music history with 12 million records sold, nominated for a Grammy and the first “Christian” metal album to reach platinum status. The yellow and black attire was the most noticeable in the 80’s which left a lasting impression for years to come, as their look changed over time the yellow and black was still present on their guitars. That is all about to change, with all the original band members, Michael Sweet, Robert Sweet, Timothy Gaines, Oz Fox, wearing their original yellow and black attire. Stryper will take us back to 1986 with hits Honestly, Calling on You, Free and the title track To Hell with the Devil and many more.
“To Hell With the Devil literally changed our lives,” explained Stryper frontman, Michael Sweet in a press release. “During that tour we went from playing theaters and mid-sized clubs to arenas, all in a very short amount of time. We never could have predicted the wild popularity of those songs and videos – especially in the mainstream market.”
This show will sell out. Go to www.stryper.com/Tour/tour.html for tickets and exclusive VIP meet and greet packages.
