(Toronto, ON) – One of music’s biggest pop stars brought The 1989 World Tour to Toronto last night for the first of two nights at Rogers Centre. Taylor Swift played to an enthusiastic sold-out crowd of nearly 50,000 fans opening the show with Welcome to New York followed by New Romantics, Blank Space, I Knew You Were In Trouble and many more!
The two-hour show was full of music, costume changes, dancing and even a surprise appearance by country superstar Keith Urban who sang his latest single John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16 plus a couple of his songs, Somebody Like You and Love Somebody, with Taylor Swift.
It was an exciting night for both Swift and her fans. Opening the show was Pickering’s own Shawn Mendes and Australia’s Vance Joy.
