(Hannover, Germany) – The Kooks are a British indie rock band formed in Brighton in 2004. They are one of those bands everyone (in Europe) has heard of but probably couldn’t name one of their hits.
With 4 hit albums, 3 of which topped UK sales in their first week and almost 20 single releases, The Kooks are very much established. Appearing at many of Europe’s finest festivals, including Hurricane in Germany and Glastonbury in UK where they played the famous Pyramid Stage. This year the band played the Montreux Jazz Festival which alone is testament to their popularity and success.
Their current world tour is in promotion of their latest album LISTEN, which was released at the end of 2014.
The band currently consists of Luke Pritchard, Hugh Harris, Alexis Nunez, and Peter Denton.
